Proctoring & securityReview workflow
Evidence Timeline & Human Review Dossier
How hiring teams inspect synchronized screen and webcam recordings, timeline flags, and reviewer notes in the Results console.
Clevid follows a strict Human-in-the-Loop principle: automated signals exist to guide reviewer attention, never to automatically fail or reject a candidate without a person looking at the context.
How integrity flags are organized
When the desktop client detects an environment or focus change during an assessment, it places a timestamped marker on the candidate's Evidence Timeline:
| Priority | Example Events | Console Behavior |
|---|---|---|
| High | Floating overlay detected, second monitor connected, remote desktop active | Marks session as Needs Review for a hiring team member to inspect |
| Medium | Exam window lost focus for several seconds, exited fullscreen, external clipboard paste | Adds a yellow marker on the video timeline scrubber |
| Info | Brief network reconnect or low-battery system prompt | Noted on the timeline for context; does not flag the candidate |
Reviewing a candidate's Evidence Dossier
In Assessments → Results (/dashboard/assessment/results), clicking any candidate row expands their Candidate Proctoring & Evidence Dossier:
- Synchronized Video Player: Watch the screen recording alongside the candidate's webcam video. Clicking any event in the Integrity Event Log jumps the video player directly to that exact second.
- Environment Summary: View the operating system, display count, and camera check status recorded during preflight.
- Reviewer Decision: Record your team's decision (Mark Verified, Request Retake, or Confirm Violation). Every decision is saved with the reviewer's name, note, and timestamp.
